Tanzania / Ngorongoro

Our third week in Tanzania we headed to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the world’s largest inactive intact volcanic crater, covering roughly 260 sq kms. The crater is home to the Maasai people and some 25,000 Elephants, Lions, Hippos, Buffalo, Ostrich, and Zebra. It also happens to be my favourite place on earth.
